What we are looking for....

We are looking for a Child and Family Worker to work with primary age children experiencing a range of issues. The role will involve assessing the child’s and family needs and providing direct support at home, via small groups in schools, telephone or through childcare services provided either by the service or other providers. Your development of strong relationships with the children and their families will enable you to support them to reach their full potential. In partnership with parents, you will support them to develop their parenting skills, self-esteem and confidence and encourage self-reflection. You will also be able to contribute to research and development of new programmes to promote the overall wellbeing of the children using the service.

At Aberlour we want to make sure every child and young person has the love, support and opportunity they need to reach their potential. If you share the same vision, we want you to
