About Aberlour, Dumfries & Galloway

Aberlour delivers a number of services supporting children, young people and their families across the Dumfries and Galloway area.

- We help parents and children who are struggling to cope. The families we work with may be affected by a range of issues, which could include drug and alcohol use in the family. We work with whole families as well as children on their own and will work with children from birth.

- We support families following the release of a family member who has been in prison, helping to ease the process of integrating back into the family home.

- We help children and young people (aged 11-18) who need extra help with education. We support children with challenging behaviour and give young people a trusted person they can talk to, as well as someone who can support them with their learning.

What we are looking for....

We are looking for an experienced administrator to support the service with general and financial administrative tasks, for 16 hours per week, worked flexibly during office hours, fully office based.

You will have excellent communication and organisational skills and be comfortable working with Microsoft Office packages.

You will have a relevant professional qualification at SCQF level 7 or equivalent experience.

At Aberlour we want to make sure every child and young person has the love, support and opportunity they need to reach their potential. If you share the same vision, we want you to join our team.

What we offer...

As well as a supportive team and excellent training opportunities, we want all our employees to feel valued and rewarded for the vital work they do. When you work with us, we'll recognise your efforts with generous annual leave, an excellent employer pension scheme and a range of deals and discounts across various retailers.

If you have any queries please e-mail: jobs@aberlour.org.uk.

Aberlour is committed to the safeguarding and welfare of all our service users and uses a thorough and rigorous recruitment and selection process including PVG Scheme checks to ensure this commitment is not compromised.
