Role: Service Lead – The Promise

Full-Time – Fixed Term 12 Months

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £34,000 to £37,000 per annum

ROLE

This exciting new role aims to develop and drive transformational change by supporting the development of our embedded culture, relationships, systems and processes that are necessary to implement FCA Scotland’s plan for The Promise and The Plan 21-24.

As the Service Lead, you will involve children, young people, families and staff in producing and further developing plans for The Promise (21-24), create the conditions for a cultural shift, which will enable our foster carers, staff and out wider network, to develop the nurturing relationships and inclusive practice that are the foundations of The Promise.

The successful candidate will create opportunities for practice sharing with staff and carers such as organising and facilitating workshops, briefings, webinars; writing newsletters, articles for our intranet. They will also promote a clear understanding across FCA Scotland about how The Promise aligns to FCA Scotland’s Service Improvement Plan.

You will also develop consultation systems with children and young people, foster carers and their birth children, through an enhanced programme of activities, events, and other creative mechanisms – ensuring their voices are at the heart of the work of FCA Scotland. You will also work closely with the Registered Manager and the Participation Team to enhance and adapt FCA Scotland’s Participation Strategy and Plan for next 12 months.
