Early Learning & Childcare Room Leader & Holiday Club Supervisor

The Glen Urquhart Childcare Centre situated in Drumnadrochit is a community run charitable organisation formed in 1995 to provide a stimulating and caring environment for children aged 3-14 years. Open Monday – Friday from 8am-6pm, 46 weeks of the year, we provide a vital lifeline for families looking for affordable childcare in the area. We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and committed individual with a strong work ethic to join our fantastic team. You will room lead one of our two nursery rooms, work within our out of school club and help supervise our busy holiday club. If you have the necessary qualifications, previous experience of leading a team along with a passion for working with children & families then this post could be for you.

You will work 38.25 hours per week term time (Monday: 8.45am-3.15pm, Tuesday: 8.45am-3.15pm, Wednesday: 8.45am-6pm, Thursday: 8.45am-6pm, Friday: 8.45am-6pm) & 45 hours per week during holiday club (Monday – Friday 9am-6pm)

Salary £27,807 - £28,983 per year (dependent on qualification) 36 days annual leave

Candidates must hold VQ Level III, HNC or equivalent childcare qualification. Candidates who hold the BA Childhood practice or equivalent (or currently working towards within 5 years with accordance to SSSC) will be placed on higher pay band.
