Part-time chef wanted for a busy children’s nursery in North Edinburgh. Pilrig Children’s Nursery is an established, family run business looking to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and experienced chef to join a friendly and long-standing staff team which includes a kitchen porter.

Healthy food is crucial to the service we provide at the nursery and the successful candidate will run our spacious kitchen organising breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack with the assistance of our kitchen porter.

This is a permanent role, working a 4 hour day, 9.30am to 1.30pm Monday to Friday, with an attractive pay rate and 6 weeks holiday a year.

Candidates must have a Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate and have a good working knowledge of Environmental Health Requirements & Cook Safe
