We are currently looking to recruit a new Play Practitioner to join our small team that works with children aged 2-5 years, 4 mornings per week (13.5 hours) during term time. Competitive salary dependent on level of experience and qualifications.
We are looking for a child-focused, friendly, enthusiastic person who is committed to ensuring that children are supported and encouraged to play in a safe, fun and developmental environment.
Applicants should be registered, or be eligible to register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). Ideally we are looking for qualified applicants (see below), however consideration will also be given to applicants who have experience of working with young children in a similar setting and who show commitment to gaining a relevant qualification and becoming registered.
Play Practitioner - SVQ level 3 or equivalent.
As this post is regulated work with children and subject to the provisions of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007, successful applicants must be, or agree to become members of the PVG scheme.
