We are a community based charity in West Linton offering early learning and childcare for children from age 2.5 years to Primary School entry. We also offer out of school care for primary school aged children.

We are currently looking for a Manager to join our passionate and dedicated team. The role of the Manager is to provide professional leadership and management for West Linton Early Learners and Westies! and its staff. Also to successfully manage the day to day running of the group, delivering high quality standards of care and education for the children.


The post holder must demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.


You will have knowledge and experience of current early learning and childcare provision and procedures. You will have experience of working with children and possess (or working towards) an HNC/SVQ Level 9 in Childcare or equivalent.


You must be registered with with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).


This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check.


West Linton Early Learners and Westies! offers flexible childcare for parents between 8.30am and 6.30pm and is closed during term time holidays. Please note that there will be an expectation for some shift work between the hours of 8.30am and 6.30pm.
