Duration: Permanent

Hours:     20 hours per week, Monday to Friday 05.00 to 09.00am

Job Purpose

The role of Cleaning Chargehand will see you deliver an efficient cleaning service at a specified operational site in Aberdeen City. You will be a member of a team of Cleaning employees and will oversee the work of the Cleaning Keyholders. The work you do will help to ensure that our schools are fit for the delivery of educational services, giving our young people a clean and tidy environment in which to be taught in. You’ll have a keen eye for detail, be self-motivated and take pride in delivering valued customer service



The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:


A British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICSc) qualification or relevant demonstrable experience



The post holder is expected to demonstrate:


Ability to manage staff.

Appropriate level of health and fitness to carry out the tasks of the job.

Competency in the use of all equipment issued.

Competency in the use of all cleaning materials used.
