Duration: Full Time, Permanent 

Must be willing to work flexible hours as follows:

Week 1 - 2pm to 7.30pm Monday to Thursday and 2pm to 7pm Fridays

Week 2 - 2pm to 7.30pm Monday to Thursday and 2pm to 7pm Fridays and 8am to 7pm (with 1 hour lunch break) on Saturday and Sunday

The postholder must undertake either individually or as a member of a team a variety of duties concerned with Environmental Operations including both general gardening or street sweeping work and horticultural work of a specialist nature in public parks, playing fields, cemeteries, landscaped areas, public open spaces, public roads, amenity areas and housing estates.


The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:

Full Class B UK Driving Licence.

Must be physically fit to undertake the full range of duties of the post. 


The post holder is expected to:

Undertake the full range of duties and tasks of the post, in relation to Ground Maintenance and Street Sweeping tasks, including grass cutting, shrub pruning, general gardening duties, street sweeping, empty litter bins, dog waste bins and other associated duties.
