An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Invest Aberdeen team, tasked with delivering on plans to significantly increase the amount of investment into the region. Invest Aberdeen has been set up by the two local councils as a new inward investment bureau. The team is outward facing and this role will require the post-holder to support a wide range of activities and projects that are developed and delivered through the inward investment bureau. To provide support to varying projects as part of the Business and Skills team, to ensure that the Project Officers and Senior Project Officers are supported in delivering the varied tasks associated with managing complex, multi funded and strategic projects in the areas of international trade, investment, business support, employability and skills.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
HND, or equivalent level qualification in a relevant discipline.
The post holder will be expected to
Undertake overseas travel as part of the role.
The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
Proven ability to organise work.
Proven ability to submit information in a timely and accurate manner.
Proven experience of planning and monitoring workloads.
Proven experience of working with multiple colleagues.
Proven experience of delivering presentations using a variety of methods and media ranging from small groups to large conferences.
Proven experience of preparing a range of materials for a time bound task.
