Location: Marischal College
Duration: Permanent, Full Time
To provide day to day support to a team of Care Coordinators by contributing to the provision of a comprehensive, intensive Community Care Service to individuals, their families and carers as part of an integrated, multidisciplinary team. The job holder will contribute directly to the development and improvement of service provision, in particular around interventions that are urgent, short-term or planned long term with individuals who have complex health and social care needs.
The post holder needs to hold as a minimum:
Professional qualification in Social Work (Dip SW, CQSW, CSS, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or equivalent)
Registration with relevant professional body – i.e. SSSC, NMC or BHPC
Registered as a Council Officer through Adult Support Protection
Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme Record (PVG) or willingness to become registered
The post holder is expected to demonstrate:
The ability to work in a flexible and creative way in order to achieve Best Value for the organisation
The ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
Competence with a range of ICT packages including MS Office
Knowledge, understanding and experience of assessing risk including child protection issues and GIRFEC
Financial management skills
