An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent social worker post, within the Children with Disability Service. The Children with Disability Service is made up of one consultant social worker/team manager post (2 x 0.5 FTE), three social workers, three care coordinators and one children’s practitioner, who work collaboratively to ensure the needs of children with disabilities receive the care, protection, assessment and intervention they need in a timely manner.
Successful applicant to this post will take a pivotal role in the assessment, reviewing and planning for children who have complex health and disability needs and who may require a care package of support via our commissioning arrangements with third sector providers.

Applicants should have experience of working with children and their families and must have good communication skills as well as being committed to multi-agency working due to the close joint working with colleagues from NHS Grampian, Education Service and from Third Sector partner agencies.
