Aberdeenshire Council’s Cultural Services is delighted to offer this opportunity to join the team at an exciting time of development. As a result of a recent review of the Arts & Heritage team we are looking to recruit creative, passionate, forward thinking team players to help drive the service forward and to deliver on our ambitious plans for Cultural provision in the North East of Scotland.
The post of Arts & Heritage Technical Officer has been created to develop and manage the service’s technical resources in order to enhance a programme of performances, exhibitions, events and recording studio provision across Aberdeenshire. As a key member of the team, you will have line management responsibility for museum and theatre technicians. This post will also play a key role in cultural capacity building through professional support and guidance to third sector and cultural partners.
The post holder must be flexible and have considerable experience of working in theatre or conferencing venues, specifically in the set up and operation of sound, light and audio visual systems.
