A vacancy has arisen for a Chargehand to lead a squad responsible for the maintenance of our road network. Your duties will involve resurfacing, surface dressing, patching and drainage works together with other related services, working to defined specifications covering a wide range of maintenance and construction methods.
The applicant will be required to work out with normal hours, and will be required to take part in winter maintenance operations.
This post has responsibility for and the requirement to drive Aberdeenshire Council vehicles. The preferred candidate will be required to produce a current, valid driving license. An offer of employment by Aberdeenshire Council will be subject to the outcome of this check being satisfactory. The preferred candidate will also be required to produce their license, on request, at periodic intervals
A current valid Driving Licence is essential
