Job Description

A vacancy has arisen for an Early Years Senior Practitioner to act as a member of the Early Learning and Childcare team, with full involvement in the work of the Early Level curriculum, and where appropriate the pre-Birth to Three Framework, helping to contribute to the care and education of children.

This is a Children’s Service Network (CSN) post.  Initially you will be based at Gordon Primary School, but you may be required to work elsewhere within the Huntly CSN.

This is a permanent post however consideration would be given to any applicant who wishes to take this as a secondment on a fixed term basis.

This position is subject to Local Government terms and Conditions.

This post is regulated work with Children and/or Protected Adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. A confirmed offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.
