A fixed term vacancy has arisen for an Engineer to support the Principal Engineer (Roads Development) in administering Roads Construction Consents (RCC), responding to Planning Service consultations and undertaking statutory duties relating to Road Adoptions, Street Naming, Property Clearance Certificates and Vehicle Operators’ Licences. Other duties include advising Councillors on Roads Development matters and attendance at Planning and Area Committee meetings.
The post is based in the Banff area but, in accordance with Aberdeenshire Council's Worksmart policy, it may be possible to carry out some of the duties of the post from other locations. The post holder should however expect to work in the Banff area for at least the 2 days in each working week.
This post has a minimum requirement of 1 reference which must be your current or most recent employer.
Duration: For a period not exceeding 14 February 2020
