Assess and address the needs of Gypsy/ Travellers to enable Aberdeenshire Council to fulfil its statutory duty to meeting the needs of the Gypsy/Traveller community.
Lead the management of unauthorised encampments in Aberdeenshire, using local and national policies, guidelines and procedures and through collaborative working.
Manage the Gypsy/Traveller site at Aikey Brae and promote improved relations with the Gypsy/ Traveller community and the settled community.
This role may require flexible, evening and weekend working.
There is a responsibility for the post holder to demonstrate a commitment to quality service delivery through continuous improvement for the benefit of the Service and the organisation.
