Live Life Aberdeenshire has an exciting opportunity to join its growing museums team, to drive forward our heritage offer and deliver on our ambitious plans. The post of Museums Development Coordinator will be responsible for the overall governance and management of Aberdeenshire’s Museum Collection and archives, and the ongoing efficiency of daily operations including the staffing team.
A key purpose of this role will be to contribute to the strategic delivery of the museums service including capital projects, refurbishments, exhibition, and outreach learning programmes. You will assume project management responsibility for key heritage initiatives across Aberdeenshire in line with local and national strategies for Culture. Other responsibilities include analysis of qualitative and quantitative data, and preparation of reports to ensure the Service retains Accreditation status.
You will line manage the three-strong team of museum staff at Museums HQ in Mintlaw, and report to the Arts & Heritage Manager.
