Job Description

Based at Bruce House, Wellgate, Arbroath, covering the Angus area.

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly motivated and inspiring leader to become a Manager for Residential resources within Children, Families and Justice with Angus Council. This will involve driving forward best practice at strategic, operational and individual level to ensure we have innovative and responsive services.

Key aspects of the role are to provide leadership and management of 6 team leaders, around 120 multi skilled social workers, family support workers and social care staff across the residential estate, children with disabilities and intensive support services.

You will provide direction for teams; engage, motivate and inspire others; support the transformational change agenda; give a sense of purpose; and role model the Angus Council values.

The position provides an opportunity for you to grow as a leader and manager in a Council which places the needs of children and families firmly at its heart.

We will provide opportunities for ongoing continuous professional development to ensure you can be as effective as possible in reshaping and improving the lives of children and families in Angus Council for the better.
