Angus Health and Social Care Partnership has an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our Occupational Therapy team.
Based at Kinloch Care Centre, Kinloch Street, Carnoustie, covering the Carnoustie / Monifieth area.
Please note that you will also be required to work throughout the Angus area depending on the needs of the service.
You will have options for hybrid working and working in different offices as well as the option of working within our flexible working scheme.
You will work as part of our welcoming and supportive Community Care team. You will provide information and advice to internal and external customers in relation to Occupational Therapy services. You will ensure good customer care is provided and that all the actions agreed with clients are promptly actioned.
Your duties will include assessing the needs of disabled children, adults and older people, living in the community, with various physical and mental health disabilities. You will visit people in their own home environment and will be responsible for identifying the need for equipment and / or adaptations to promote and maintain the person’s independence. You will also be responsible for providing advice and information in relation to other community care services.
You will work closely with colleagues from Occupational Therapy, Community Care, NHS and external services.
