This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working for the Council’s Regulatory Services team in a very challenging yet beautiful part of Scotland. Working from our Oban office, there will be a need to travel extensively throughout the local area and islands, covering the full range of environmental health duties. These range from public health investigations, food interventions, health and safety, environment protection and licensing.
This is a temporary post for maternity cover but we will provide you with a varied and challenging workload, training and development, and you will be joining a service which is committed to flexible working, the use of mobile technology and of continuous improvement. We have degree of flexible working using providing voice and video link technology.
Working 35 hours across Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00 with a one hour lunch break
