This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working for the Council’s Regulatory Services team in a very challenging yet beautiful part of Scotland. You will lead on air quality, contaminated land and other environmental protection issues, as well as having the opportunity to work across other (non-food based) areas of environmental health. Office location will be in Helensburgh or Dunoon (although this is flexible).

There will be a requirement to work across the whole of Argyll and Bute to support other officers on Environmental Protection matters whilst also managing your own district workload, whilst ensuring that environmental health standards are met and to protect public health. We will provide you with varied workload in all areas of environmental health (with the exception of food) with responsibility for air quality and contaminated land, a good team, and flexible working using providing voice and video link technology.
