Due to a secondment, an excellent opportunity has arisen for a qualified / newly qualified Environmental Health Officer to join an environmental health team delivering high quality services in the challenging yet beautiful West Coast of Scotland, working from a base in Oban.
As a key member of the operational team, you will work with colleagues, businesses and the public in ensuring that the wide range of environmental health services are delivered to a high standard to protect the public.
We will provide you with a varied workload, flexible working and excellent conditions of service. You will be joining a Regulatory Services function which is committed to innovation, the use of mobile technology and of continuous improvement.
This is a temporary post for 12 months.

- The jobholder will be expected to travel efficiently and effectively between various work locations within Argyll and Bute and beyond to meet the operational requirements of the service.
