Argyll and Bute Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) are looking to recruit two talented and committed Heads of Adult Services. The post holders will be central to enabling the partnership to drive forward our future plans to support the communities of Argyll and Bute. As key members of our Strategic Leadership Team, the successful candidates will report to the Chief Officer, working closely in collaboration with the NHS Highland, Argyll and Bute Council, Third and Independent sectors and other partners, customers and colleagues. The post holders will have proven professional leadership and a commitment to the vision, values and strategic objectives of the HSCP.

As a key member of the Senior Leadership Team, you will help to plan, develop and implement strategy and resource and deliver the IJB’s strategic objectives sustainably and in the public interest.

 

You will lead and manage the planning and delivery of high quality safe, effective and person centred health and adult social care services, integrating service provision across Argyll & Bute and with other Areas and other statutory organisations.

 

You will work across Argyll & Bute with each role having a distinct portfolio of responsibility allocated by the Chief Officer, key areas are in Community and Hospital Services and Learning Disability, Mental Health and Lifelong Conditions.

As one of our Heads of Service, you will join, and have the support of, an enthusiastic, supportive Senior Leadership Team. You will work with skilled health and social care professionals. You will make a difference that matters, to both the people you work with and for.

 

These posts are integrated and so can be employed by either Argyll and Bute Council or NHS Highland. Applicants who currently work for either of these bodies should expect to stay with their existing employer if they are successful. External applicants will have the option to choose employer.

 

These are full time permanent posts, working 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday and will be based in Argyll and Bute. The appointment process will include an Assessment Centre and interview by a panel of Integrated Joint Board Members, dates to be confirmed.
