We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic senior professional HR and OD Manager to lead our team for a temporary period. We would welcome an experienced manager who will deliver an efficient, effective and professional HR and OD service to Argyll and Bute Council. The role supports the management and development of the Council's people resource in all aspects from payroll to our SQA accredited training centre. You will also have responsibility for our Performance and Improvement Framework.

This is an exciting time of change for the organisation with opportunities to make a difference while you are with us. We operate a flexible working policy and you will have the opportunity to work remotely at times. Whilst the post would preferably be based in Lochgilphead, we will consider other areas in Argyll and Bute as the main location. A relocation package is available.

This role is temporary for 1 year to provide Maternity cover.

Hours: 35 hours per week (Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm)
