The Council is seeking to recruit an ICT Compliance and Security Officer to join the ICT Management Team and take responsibility for the Council's Cyber Security and ICT related compliance programmes in either Lochgilphead or Helensburgh.
The post holder will support the ICT and Digital Manager to deliver high quality, efficient, effective and secure ICT services to the Council and help develop the team's strategic objectives and service plans by working in partnership with colleagues within and outwith the service, and by taking personal responsibility for planning how these are delivered effectively and efficiently to service users. The post holder will manage statutory compliance, and ensure best practice in regards to the security of the ICT service.
You should be a self-motivated ICT Security professional with experience of current cyber security and compliance trends, strategy and implementation.
You should have a good understanding of the PSN and PCI compliance standards and possess excellent communication and presentation skills.
