Argyll and Bute Council are looking to recruit a full-time ICT Engineer to join our ICT Desktop team. This is an exciting role based in Lochgilphead, working within a dynamic team which has a strong focus on customer service.

You will be primarily responsible for providing 1st line support via the ICT Service Desk and experience of working within a ITSM environment is essential. You will also provide hardware and software support including first and second line operational support, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of service requests, issues and incidents.

You will have up to date experience and strong skills centring on Microsoft operating systems and desktop applications as well as a working knowledge of Cloud Services. Ideally, you will have experience in scripting, mobile phone and Tablet support and remote application/service deployment along with excellent customer service experience and overall strengths in technical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
