Leisure Assistant - Lifeguard

LiveArgyll is a charity that operates leisure and sport facilities, libraries, halls and community center's across Argyll and Bute. We are seeking individuals with energy, drive and passion to join our operations team as Leisure Assistant - Lifeguard, based in Riverside Swim and Health Centre in Dunoon.

The successful candidates will be required to hold a valid NPLQ Lifeguard qualification and it would be desirable to hold a Swim Teachers Certificate. They should have a knowledge of Operating Procedures and Health and Safety. 

The post requires the successful candidates to be part of a team to deliver a high standard of service for members and customers.  

The successful candidates should be flexible regarding work patterns and be available to work weekends and evenings. 

The post includes poolside supervision and contributing to the safety and welfare of the users through active monitoring. 

The post also requires the candidate to carry out cleaning duties, reception duties and attendance at regular staff training. 

There are 3 Permanent posts with hours detailed below to be worked on a Pre arranged Rota basis which includes early shifts, late shifts along with weekend working:-

1x37hr post, 1x28.5hr post & 1x20hr post
