Cleaning Supervisor
Castlebrae Hub

Salary: £22,965 - £26,919 plus additional split shift payment 
Hours: 36 per week (Monday – Friday - split shift working patterns AM and PM will be in place) 

We are looking for one Cleaning Supervisor to join the team and cover several buildings around Castlebrae, Craigmillar and Duddingston area.

Shifts will be split (AM/PM) therefore, successful candidates will need to be flexible in their working hours.

Successful candidate will have a number of buildings allocated to them and be responsible for managing a number of cleaning staff with in the area.   

Clean drivers licence and use of a private car may be beneficial in the role.

Experience of cleaning and staff supervision is essential for this position.

Candidates should have experience of supervising and Managing staff, ideally with a cleaning background. 

Experience in IT would be an advantage as information needs to be input via a Laptop/computer. 

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.  For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
