Clerical Assistant
Portobello High School

Salary: £23,651 - £23,857 per year (pro-rata for sessional)
Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join our school clerical team. The role will include working in our school office providing a welcoming first point of contact for pupils, staff and visitors. Duties will include reception, telephone, general clerical, administrative and practical support for various teams across the school.

The successful candidate will have experience of working as part of a team and be able to demonstrate a commitment and willingness to work flexibly and manage conflicting priorities in order to meet the needs of the service. They will also be competent users of ICT and have knowledge and experience of using databases, spreadsheets and word documents. A suitable qualification in first aid or experience in this area along with a willingness to undertake any necessary training is essential.

Working hours will be:

Monday to Thursday 8am - 4.15pm
Friday 8am - 1pm
