The school improvement plan focusses on the areas of improvement in children and young people’s attainment/achievement, particularly in literacy and numeracy; closing the attainment gap between the most and least disadvantaged children and young people; improvement in children and young people’s health and wellbeing; and improvement in employability skills and sustained, positive school leaver destinations for all young people.
A major focus of the school’s improvement plan is to continue to work towards ensuring there is no pattern between lower attainment and children living in poverty, delivery a high standard of learning for all of our pupils, and ensuring that pupils progress into a positive and sustainable destination.
The role of the Depute Head Teacher is to assist and, where necessary, to deputise for the Head Teacher in the conduct of school affairs. The Depute Head Teacher occupies a pivotal position in the senior leadership of the school. As such, the Depute Head Teacher would be expected to be a leading professional with the breadth of vision and range of
