Directorate Assurance Officer
Waverley Court

Salary: £26,393 - £31,484
Hours: 36 per week

An exciting opportunity to work as part of the Governance and Policy team within the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership. You will be involved in developing our assurance processes, co-ordinating our Internal Audit management actions, supporting the rollout of our new risk management framework and helping us enhance our governance activities across the Partnership.

You will be involved in a number of workstreams across the Partnership providing recommendations for further improvement and work to enhance service delivery. You will be expected to work across a range of priorities and themes to ensure the effective delivery of outcomes for the Partnership.

You will assist in researching best practice, processes, methodologies and approaches to assurance and governance activities and working with our second line Corporate Governance, Risk Management and Internal Audit teams.

You will use your excellent communications skills to provide detailed and high quality advice on process improvements and liaise with a range of both internal and external stakeholders.

The successful candidate must hold a SVQ Level 4 or able to demonstrate relevant experience. This role is subject to Basic Disclosure.
