Greengables Nursery School
Salary: £22,129 - £26,393 (pro rata for part time and sessional 39 weeks)
Hours: 14.4 per week (Monday and Tuesday, 39 weeks sessional)
We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Early Years Practitioner to join the Greengables Nursery and Family Centre team.
Greengables Nursery has been offering 1140 hours of free Early Learning and Childcare since 2017 and children attend 30 hours a week, from 9am until 3pm.
Greengables is situated in an area of positive action and the team is dedicated to improving the life chances of our children and families. The ethos of the nursery is based on Froebelian principles and we spend a significant part of our day outside in our wonderful natural garden.
This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
