Wester Hailes Healthy Living Centre

Salary: £18,860 - £21,828 (Full Time)
Hours: 36 per week (07:00 - 15:00 Monday to Friday)

Responsible, enthusiastic and committed Facilities Technician required to undertake janitorial duties within a busy building which include opening and closing the building, Health & Safety inspections including water quality checks and fire alarm tests, identifying and reporting maintenance issues and carrying out reasonable requests from customers and building users.

You will carry out day to day janitorial and DIY operations ranging from small repairs and general maintenance to reactive cleaning, supporting porterage and conducting security functions. You will provide an efficient and effective facilities technician service in accordance with the Service Level Agreement, CEC policy and any prevailing general standards.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. 

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.
