Salary: £76,417 - £86,016
Hours: 36 per week

The Head of Criminal Justice will be responsible for the management of a major service area within the City of Edinburgh Council.

The post holder will have responsibility for effective delivery of Criminal Justice services across Edinburgh. They will be required to lead and develop the service to ensure it meets the objectives of the Community Justice Partnership alongside key stakeholders.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual with significant experience of leading Criminal Justice Social Work services. They must be able to provide strong leadership and work alongside the Service Director and relevant Senior Managers across the Council.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
