Hours: 27 per week
We have an opportunity for an HR Consultant to join our team. Based in our HR Case Management Team, the post holder will provide advice and support to line managers across services on a range of employee relation matters but with a particular focus on absence.
As the focus of the role is primarily supporting activity around absence and wellbeing, duties include liaising with our occupational health providers. This is great opportunity for someone looking to build their knowledge and experience of HR policies.
You should have an HR generalist background ideally within a unionised organisation, be an associate member of the CIPD or possess an equivalent HR Management qualification and have a working knowledge of employee relations policies and current employment law practices.
In addition, candidates should have a highly developed influencing and analytical skills with strong written and verbal communication skills. The candidate will have autonomy to manage their own diaries and casework.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
