Hours: 36 per week

Customer and Digital Services has a vacancy for a motivated individual to undertake and assist with the provision of ICT support and development activities in its Geographical Information Systems and Corporate Address Gazetteer Team (GIS/CAG Team). You will work in an exciting and dynamic environment which is at the heart of business change throughout the Council.

We are looking for an Administrator to join the Team to support and develop applications and processes used across the Council but principally within the Council’s Planning and Building Standards functions.

The GIS/CAG Team has a key role in ensuring that the Council's central address data (CAG) meets national standards, that applications used throughout Planning and Building Standards meet business needs, and that the Council’s GIS infrastructure meets the needs of users across the Council.

The successful candidate will work in close co-operation with other members of the Team, other Council service areas and the Council’s ICT Partner Provider to help support users and deliver business change. A key part of your role will be to support business areas in their objective of meeting customer expectations. Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
