Multi Systemic Therapy (MST) Supervisor
City Chambers

Salary: £43,619 - £52,222 (pro-rata for part-time)
Hours: 21 per week

There are two teams of 4 MST Practitioners along with a Supervisor and Programme Manager/Supervisor.  Reporting to the Programme Manager/Supervisor, the post holder will be responsible for the operational management of MST Team 2 and the management of a small caseload.  They will provide specialist therapeutic interventions for difficult to reach families of young people who are at risk of being taken into care as a result of offending or other serious conduct problems. Individual members of these families may also be on or at risk of being placed on an antisocial behaviour order. The service will incorporate a 24 hour on call system.

Post holder is required to have a full UK driving licence.  

This role requires the post holder to be a registered Social Worker or registered Psychologist with a Masters degree (clinical, counselling/forensic/educational) or other equivalent professional qualification, i..e Masters in Family therapy, child and adolescent mental health.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.  For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.

The advertised salary will increase by 3% on 1st April 2020.
