Pupil Support Assistant
St Mark’s RC Primary School
Salary: £19,687 – £19,969 (pro-rata for part time and sessional)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week, 39 weeks sessional
St Mark’s is a Catholic primary school with a wide catchment area. We are situated at the foot of the Pentland Hills and adjacent to Colinton Mains Park. We are a small school with a maximum capacity of approximately 200 children. Each child is an individual and special. Everyone is given the opportunity to grow and learn in an atmosphere of discipline, kindness and care. Although St Mark’s is a Catholic school, families of other faiths or of no faith are welcome within the community of our school.
St Mark’s Primary School is looking to recruit an empathetic individual with strong interaction skills to work collaboratively as a member of the Pupil Support Assistant team under the direction and supervision of teaching or nominated staff, the post holder will be required to support pupils in early years through organised activities, providing support, assistance and encouragement to help each individual child achieve the best learning outcomes possible
