School Support Assistant, fixed term to 30/06/2022
Broughton High School

Salary: £18,860 - £19,142 (pro rata for part-time and sessional 39 weeks)
Hours: 27.5 per week, 39 weeks per year

Monday – Thursday 8:30 – 15:30 (15 min am/45 min lunch break each day), Friday 8:30-12:15 (15 min am break)

We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised person to join our busy team.  The role will include providing administrative support to various departments across the school, working in our welfare facility, duty in the foyer / playground area at breaks and lunch times and general office tasks.

The successful candidate will have experience of working in a busy office environment and be willing to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.  They will also be competent users of ICT and have knowledge and experience of using databases, spreadsheets and word documents.

Excellent communication/interpersonal skills and experience of working to tight deadlines is essential.  Candidates will be expected to provide basic first aid and administer medication as appropriate.  A suitable qualification in first aid or considerable experience in this area along with a willingness to undertake any necessary training is essential.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.  For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
