Balerno High School is a six year comprehensive which serves the districts of Balerno, Ratho and Kirknewton. The school has close liaison with the associated primaries in each of these communities.
We are supported by an active Parent Council and Parent Teacher Association.The roll for session 2021-2022 is 828 pupils in years S1 to S6.
Our school has an excellent academic reputation and a vibrant extra curricular and enrichment programme. We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support staff and pupils within the Science faculty.
