Social Worker - Access and Emergency Social Care Services

Salary: £32,123 - £38,340
Hours: 36 per week
We are looking to recruit 4 highly motivated and enthusiastic Social Workers into an exciting new team within Social Care Direct (first point of contact for social work and social care services in Edinburgh). This role will involve being part of a brand new multidisciplinary frontline duty team, comprising of Senior Social Workers, Senior Occupational Therapist, Senior Practitioners, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists and Community Care Assistants, who will respond to all new referrals received on behalf of the Edinburgh Health and Social Care Partnership, relating to social work and social care services. The successful individuals must have the ability to build positive and productive relationships and have good organisational and analytical skills. The successful individuals will undertake statutory roles and responsibilities for adult support and protection work, and therefore an ability to manage risk is essential.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
