Supervisory Assistant (Dining Room) - Fixed Term until 1 July 2022

Gilmerton Primary School

Salary: £18,297 - £18,597 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional 38 weeks)

Hours: 8 hours per week (11.45am - 1.45pm), 38 weeks per year

 

Gilmerton Primary School is a non-denominational primary school which serves the community of South East Edinburgh and which opened on its present site in 1968. Gilmerton Primary School is organised into sixteen classes from P1 -7 and the current school role is 455. The school is led by a management team of a Head Teacher, two Depute Head Teachers, two Principal Teachers and a Business Manager. We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Supervisory Dining Room Assistant to support pupils during their lunch time. The successful candidate will have a positive mind set, welcome new challenges and engage fully with the wider priorities of the school.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children and/or Protected Adults, under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups(Scotland) Act 2007. Preferred candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by the City of Edinburgh Council.

 

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
