Workshop Technician

Salary: £24,890 - £28,854 (pro-rata for sessional)
Hours: 36 per week, 39 weeks sessional
The successful candidate will support teachers and students in the preparation and use of materials and equipment, assist in the preparation of example models to support learning and teaching and may assist with the demonstration of a range of tools and equipment in lessons.
They will have a key role in health and safety within the CDT department, ensuring that materials, tools, equipment and teaching areas are well maintained in a safe condition. The successful candidate will also be asked to support administrative duties including ordering of goods and maintaining records.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range. For roles in grade 5 or above, annual increments in our contribution zones are dependent on achieving agreed performance goals.
