Alloa Academy is a modern six year comprehensive school serving the town of Alloa in Clackmannanshire. We have a welcoming and inclusive ethos and strong links across our community. We are part of a thriving Learning Community and work very successfully with our partners— Park Primary, Sunnyside Primary, Redwell Primary, Lochies School, ABC Nursery, St Mungo’s Primary and the Secondary Support Service.

Currently we have 725 students, 62 teaching staff and 31 support staff including a team of well-trained Learning Assistants and Business Support staff. The school is truly comprehensive and includes a department which caters for children with Extended Additional Support Needs.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council and the cost of this check which will be deducted from your salary.
