Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

This exciting role within the current structure of Alloa Academy will require a highly motivated person who can lead and manage teachers, learning assistants and work with multi-disciplinary partners to develop build an excellent learning environment for young people who have Severe and Complex Additional Support Needs.

 

The appointee will be required to articulate and execute vision for the department within the whole school vision as well as contributing to the evolution of a longer-term strategy to support learners with Severe and Complex Additional Support Needs in Clackmannanshire. The appointee must therefore have well established management and leadership skills.

 

The successful candidate will be required to work closely with young people and families from both Alloa Academy and Lochies Specialist Primary to ensure Clackmannanshire Council deliver a high-level service continuum for young people with Severe and Complex Additional Support Needs aged 5-18.   

 

This role requires a strong leader and manager to develop delivery and monitoring of individual curricular pathways through close liaison with families, young people and Allied Health Professionals.
