PRINCIPAL PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
This section lists the main (headline) responsibilities / accountabilities of the job.
The EAL teacher will assist schools and the Additional Support Needs Manager to provide inclusive and appropriate education for pupils for whom English is an Additional Language. Success in the teaching responsibilities of the post will be determined by the improved outcomes, participation and successes achieved by the young people for whom the teacher is responsible.

This post is considered Regulated Work with Vulnerable Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. You will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check prior to a formal offer of employment being made by Clackmannanshire Council and the cost of this check which will be deducted from your salary.
