Job Description
The postholder will provide advice to businesses on compliance with coronavirus regulations and provide feedback, reports and recommendations for further action to line managers. They will assist officers in their duties related to coronavirus regulations and provide support in the provision of Environmental Health and Trading Standards services in the Outer Hebrides.
Requirements
The postholder will be educated to Higher level, have experience of working with a range of people in a variety of situations requiring sensitive handling and be able to demonstrate some level of legal knowledge and application. A general understanding of Housing, Animal Health, Environmental Health and Trading Standards legislation, including Covid related legislation is essential along with the ability to be adaptable and able to learn new skills and the ability to deal with clients/issues in a practical and professional manner. A driving licence is essential.
Appointment to the post is fixed term for 1 year.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance. Appointment to the post will be on the first point of scale.
