Job Description
You will be supporting an individual with tracheostomy / ventilation care and special need support requirements within their home to enable them to live in the community. This work requires integrity, flexibility and a caring manner to help an individual maintain independence.
Requirements
You should have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a lone working environment and also as part of a team. Experience of working with people with support needs, care planning and SVQ lll in Care (or equivalent) is essential. In the absence of this you must have the ability to undertake and achieve this qualification 36 months after registration with the SSSC. You will work as part of a team on a shift basis.
Full specialist training will be given and updated appropriately. A professional support network will also be available to you.
Salary for the above post is inclusive of Distant Islands Allowance.
Hours on an as and when required basis.
