You will be professionally qualified with current full membership of a CCAB Institute.

Responsibilities

As an Accounting Manager in the Accounting Strategy Team, lead and manage a team of accounting staff in the delivery of efficient and effective finance support to allocated Service(s). Oversee the day to day operational finance support, as well as ensuring the provision of strategic level financial advice, planning and reporting to allocated Service(s).

The Individual

You will have experience of preparation of revenue and capital budgets, managing financial resources, as well as final accounts preparation. Working knowledge of financial ledger systems, analysis of financial data and experience of partnership and collaborative working is also essential.

You will require the ability to present financial and statistical information to non-finance managers, have good written and verbal communication skills and excellent IT skills. Ability to work quickly and accurately to meet tight deadlines along with good problem solving skills and negotiating skills is essential.

You will require leadership skills with the ability to form positive relationships at all levels and the ability to lead and manage a small team effectively.
